Lust Secrets from Under-the-Covers:

Which is the more potent of the two - Love or Lust?

A lust survey conducted among 500 women turned out to be a torrid tussle of the L-words. Their responses to intimate queries on tenderness, passion and romance vis-à-vis more basic instincts such as turn-ons and erotic fantasies exposed the delicate balance between the two.

Love...makes the world go round
Evidently, love, trust and sensitivity win over career. An overwhelming 76 percent of those surveyed were ready to sacrifice a dream job for true love. Only 24 per cent could tear themselves away from their lovers for the sake of career.

Trust is accorded maximum priority in a relationship.
Eighty per cent of the responses confirmed this. Other factors are Fun (9 per cent) and Lust (5 percent). Honesty, Affection, Understanding and a certain mental chemistry (6 percent) were priority for some people. Sex also improved with time for 75 per cent of the partners.

Love at first sight, it seems, is not passé.
More than half of the respondents (53%) ardently believed in it. Besides, most of them (47%) ranked romance and tenderness as the most important elements in a relationship, followed by shared interests (38%), security (11%) and fabulous sex (9%).

Pleasure Island
Talking of turn-ons, the survey ran into steamy territory. Hot adult videos were bang-on for 30 per cent of the respondents, while an equal number was titillated by partners saying what they were doing to them. They were also aroused by erotic literature (13%), private fantasies (10%) and partners telling them what to do (8%). A few of them sought alternative modes of pleasure such as sexy music (5%), phone sex (2%) and cyber sex (2%).

Fantasies reigned supreme.
More than 71% fantasized about their current partner, while about 31% admitted that their erotic imagination involved other people too. They tended to fantasize more about celebrities (4%) than former boyfriends (1.5%), and the list included a number of Bollywood heroes. Topping the fantasy chart was actor Shah Rukh Khan, dominating 27% of celebrity-centred fantasies. Salman (25%) and Aamir (19%) followed on the list, which also includes Sunjay Dutt (9.5%) and Nana Patekar (9.2%).
